Weight Training

When I talk about weight training I usually refer to pieces of equipment including: kettlebells, dumbbells, free weights, weight machines, stability balls, BOSUs, medicine balls, sandbags, kegs and everything else I may have missed. This article is going to talk about using your own body weight for your weight training.
I maintain that regardless of how much money you have, or where you live, you can always do a workout at all hours of the day. You can look for odd objects around your house and lift a bag of dirt. A full body weight workout can be done by just about everyone. There are push ups, pull ups, abdominal crunches, handstand push ups, triceps dips, squats, lunges, calf raises or any other exercise that you cleverly design.
Here is one of the new crazes all across the country…TRX Suspension Training!
Suspension Training is a program using your own body weight designed to work all the major muscle groups, plus other muscles not totally targeted with a barbell; Legs, Chest, Back, Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps and Abs. The TRX Suspension Training can be portable by hanging a strap over a door. You could also hang the suspension straps from the ceiling. There are exclusive moves from suspension body weight training and you can sculpt your body from all possible angles recruiting muscles you didn’t know you had.
TRX Suspension Training was developed by a former U.S. Navy Seal. It is still used to keep our
military in shape while deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Body weight suspension training builds strength, flexibility, core stability and muscle endurance. Even though you use your own body weight, the straps are adjustable for more support or less depending on your workout level.

There are gyms and facilities across the nation that have classes with stationary TRX Equipment. However, you can also purchase your own TRX Suspension Equipment and either secure yours to a sturdy stationary position, or purchase the “over the door” model which even comes with a placard stating that training is in progress.
TRX Suspension Training is a great form of weight training for anyone and can be done anywhere. It can train your body in a more functional way to help with core strength. As
mentioned earlier, it uses your body weight and the resistance can be as easy or as hard as you want to make it. Check out the TRX Suspension Training and add it into your weight training regimen.
